Family Dollar in Northwest Omaha robbed by gunman wearing red

OPD Press Release: Officers responded to a robbery at the Family Dollar at 99th and Maple Street Saturday at 8:51 p.m. An employee told officers that she was locking up the store when the suspect approached on foot, showed a handgun, and demanded money.

After taking cash from the register, the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was described as an unknown race male, about six feet tall, 140 pounds, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and a black mask.
