Southwest Omaha daycare owner charged with felony child abuse

A Southwest Omaha daycare owner has been charged with felony child abuse after a video shows her verbally and physically assaulting a 4 year old girl.

On Monday, April 3, 2017 Omaha Police responded to a call of child abuse that occurred at Lynn’s Learning Center, 3109 S. 112th Street. The parents of the 4-year old female child reported that daycare owner, 58 year old Lynn Rowe, physically abused their child in her day care.

On Wednesday, April 12 detectives obtained a felony arrest warrant for Rowe for child abuse.  The Omaha Metro Fugitive Task force searched for Rowe but was unable to locate her.

This morning, April 14th, Rowe was taken into custody in Missouri Valley in Harrison County Iowa.
