Firefighters smash windows of an illegally parked car in front of fire hydrant

Omaha Firefighters responded to a structure fire in South Omaha near 19th & M Street Sunday evening.

A motorist who parked their vehicle in front of a fire hydrant had their windows broken out and a water supply hose run through their car.

The car was then ticketed and impounded after the house fire was extinguished according a tweet from Omaha Police Officer Ryan Miller.
