Omaha Firefighters responded to a gas-fed fire near a BBQ smoker at Famous Dave’s, 13015 Birch Drive. The fire was reported just before 2 PM, and gas was shut off at the meter and fire brought under control at about 2:15 PM. No injuries were reported.
MUD responded to the scene and had gas completely shut off to the structure from the street by 3:40 PM.
