Police make arrest in December West Omaha homicide

The Omaha Police Department Homicide Unit has made an arrest in the homicide of Michael Brinkman who was murdered in his home on December 23, 2016.

Detectives and officers from the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force arrested 29-year old LeAndre Jennings for 1st Degree Murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person.

A second suspect in this case is still at large and is considered armed and dangerous.  The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 foot or taller, and approximately 200 pounds.

Anyone with information relating to this homicide or the second suspect is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP or the Omaha Police Homicide Unit at 402-444-5656.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects in this case.
