A motorcyclist was rushed to the ER after a crash with a SUV last night.

Just after 9:00 p.m. yesterday officers responded to a personal injury crash involving a motorcycle at 156th & Q Street. Officers say a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV was turning from eastbound Q Street onto northbound 156th Street. A 2006 Suzuki GSX-1000 motorcycle struck the Hyundai Santa Fe on its passenger side.
According to witnesses the Hyundai had a green turn arrow and right of way at time of the crash. Witnesses also stated that the motorcycle was going over the speed limit which is 45 MPH.
The motorcyclist was transported to Nebraska Medicine by OFD Medic 77 with serious, non-life threatening injuries to his legs.
The driver of the Suzuki motorcycle was identified as 18 year old Roland B. Ladenson of Omaha. He was cited for careless driving, no motorcycle endorsement, driving during suspension, no registration and no insurance.
The the driver of the Hyundai was identified as: Shannon Bartlet-Hunt of Omaha. Bartlet-Hunt, her twelve and five year old sons complained of various aches and pains but refused medical treatment.
